Download EOI Form Projects starting 2025
We are now inviting expressions of interest for fully-funded PhD studentships starting in October 2025. Six projects are expected to be awarded, with each PhD project a collaboration between a collection (or several) and a UK university.
All Expression of Interest proposals for a co-supervised collaborative doctoral studentship should be jointly developed between an HEI partner and a CC-EE collections partner, but we realise that some of these partnerships might be at an early stage.
To find out more about the CC-EE CDP please see a recording of an information session here
and a PowerPoint with further information here
We strongly recommend that you get in touch with the CC-EE team at cc-ee@fitzmuseum.cam.ac.uk to discuss your project prior to submitting an Expression of Interest, as well as discussing with relevant staff at the collections institution on which the PhD will be focused. The CDP team can help make introductions if required.

If you have an idea, but would like to see the types of projects which have been previously funded by other consortia through this scheme, the AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Partnership Consortium curates a list of Highlighted Projects, giving an insight into the types of projects that might be supported by the CC-EE CDP.
